What services do you offer?
We specialize in forest health and fuels reduction work, including thinning, brush removal, ladder fuel removal, and creating defensible space around homes and properties. Our focus is on trees 8 inches and under at breast height.
Do you take marketable timber or whole trees?
No. We do not remove or purchase marketable timber. Our work is centered around small‑diameter thinning to improve forest health, reduce fire risk, and open up overcrowded stands.
When is the best time of year to schedule work?
Work can be done most of the year, but weather and snow dictate higher‑elevation projects. Lower elevations often stay accessible longer. We recommend reaching out early—our schedule fills quickly.
How do I get on your schedule?
Send us a message, email or give us a call. We’ll set up a time to walk your property, answer questions, and create a plan. Once you approve the estimate, we add you to our schedule.
Why is forest management important?
Thoughtful forest management reduces wildfire risk, improves tree health, supports wildlife habitat, and encourages resilient forests. A thinned forest is not a “destroyed” forest—it’s a healthier one.

Yes. We follow industry best practices for defensible space and fuels reduction. While we can’t guarantee outcomes with insurance companies, we can help you understand and meet common recommendations.
How long does a project usually take?
Project duration depends on acreage, density, terrain, and access. Smaller projects may take a day or two; larger or steeper properties may require more time. We provide an estimated timeline during your walkthrough.
How much does a project cost?
Every property is different, so pricing depends on terrain, density, access, and the level of work needed. We provide free estimates after walking your property and discussing your goals.
What areas do you service?
We work throughout Washington and Oregon, including mountain communities and rural properties. If you’re unsure whether you’re in our service area, just ask—we’re happy to let you know.
Do I need to be home during the work?
No. As long as we have clear access instructions and any gates are unlocked, you don’t need to be present.
Can you help with recently logged properties?
Yes. We regularly work post‑logging properties to clean up slash, thin regeneration, and prepare ground for reseeding.
What do you do with the material you remove?
We use masticators to mulch material directly on site. This reduces slash, returns organic matter to the forest floor, and leaves a clean, low-profile finish. In areas where mastication isn’t suitable, we’ll discuss alternative options with you.
Can you guarantee your work?
We guarantee the quality of the work we perform at the time of completion. Forests are living systems, so things like weather, regrowth, and natural changes are outside anyone’s control—but if you have concerns about the work itself, we’re always willing to take a look and make sure it meets the standards we promised.
Can you help me decide which trees should stay or go?
Absolutely. During your estimate, we walk the property with you and help identify trees that should be kept for forest health, spacing, and long‑term resilience.
Do I need any permits?
Most of our work does not require permits. If your property or local regulations do require notifications or special considerations, we’ll guide you through the process.
